It’s warming up, blossom is in full bloom and we’re feeling the invigorating Spring sunshine on our faces. We’re starting to dream of Summer months spent in warmer climes

Now that sunshine has started streaming through our windows throwing a balmy light across our interiors, we’re looking at light blues and greys as a cooler coloured update for our homes.

Have you ever looked at a beautifully styled magazine picture, with a stunning console table, perfect vase of flowers, finished with a striking wall mirror – and thought, how do I get that look? Wonder no more, our perfect pairs will get you set.

So many of us choose this time of year to revitalise and start a-fresh, we can’t help but think that this is the perfect time to apply the same concept to our homes.

We love nothing more on a chilly evening than a steaming hot bath, slipping on our cosy Pjs, snuggling under a wool blanket and enjoying a glass of wine – all with the scent of a beautiful candle to transport our weary minds to another place

In the past month not only have we debuted our fab new look website, but this week we’ve launched a collection of exclusive and exquisite French beds.

Like the Latin Quarter of Paris, we have a deep rooted love for not only all things French but with a little bit of bohemian beauty. So when we discovered the effortlessly-romantic home wares collection from Boho & Co we simply couldn’t resist

For a little while the inky blues have sat in the background to the ever favoured blush pink, copper/rose gold and copper tones which have dominated our interiors for the past year or so. But now, the rich blue tones are coming to the fore to have their moment in our interiors spotlight. From dark indigo and navy to denim blues – these cool, deep shades are the perfect way to add a grown-up edge to the pinky hues in our homes.

Dare we say it, but it feels as though the inky blues we’re seeing rising to the top, could be a a slightly more colourful, design savvy alternative and a shade braver than the fail-safe (and still our fave really!) grey.

Unfortunately, we are not all blessed with huge amounts of square footage in our bedrooms – especially considering in some parts of London a double bedroom of 10’x12′ would set you back £240k*, yes, that’s just the bedroom! But what these rooms may lack in space they can well and truly make up for in character, charm, cosiness and comfort. There’s something almost womb-like about being cocooned in a smaller bedroom, tucked up in your own little world. A diminutive bedroom sometimes manages to convey more about the person who lives there, as the items within have been carefully thought out and are obviously considered important to be granted valuable space. Another great benefit to having a smaller scale bedroom is that the design can remain simple without getting to overwhelming, you simply don’t have the space to over complicate it.

One of our biggest pleasures in life comes from a fresh bed – nothing can beat climbing into bed at the end of the day with crisp linen, fluffy pillows and beautifully smelling duvet to send you into sweet slumber.
