An exceptionally dreamy design of bed that focuses on the trend for natural, unfinished, distressed and weathered furniture whilst capturing a romantic and graceful aesthetic. The bed frame is hand-carved with an ornate central top carving on the frame of the headboard, and the foot end and dog legs of the each of the 4 cabriole legs have acanthus scroll carvings. The curved double-layer rattan headboard panel gives the bed a graceful style as well as demonstrating the high quality workmanship. Made from a recycled wooden frame, to reveal the true beauty of the wood, this French bed is the ultimate in pared back romantic and carefree styling, taking inspiration from the styling of French country homes. The reclaimed wood finish gives this piece a gentle warmth which would suit both a fresh, bright white bedroom or a more classic French style bedroom (as photographed). This weathered piece is made from natural and solid wood, which will expand and contract depending on the heat and humidity of the room in which it is placed.
