The undulating shape of the Love Story Cocoon Bed’s grand headboard curves along and also down the bed, providing a perfectly placed side perch for a weary head (a nod to the classic design of the hotel porter’s chair).

The sweeping and undulating headboard and footboard that encase the bed are upholstered in sound-absorbent velvet to reduce noise, providing a space for solace and solitude.

The Cocoon Bed joins the illustrious, best-selling Love Story Collection, and slides in seamlessly with the French Bedroom Love Story lexicon.

Our exclusive collection captures a moment, a feeling, an emotion, inspired by the infinite natural beauty of our finite world; every corner of our precious planet has been the inspiration for the Love Story designs.

Crafted from a solid oak framework, the bed is hand-carved and stained with a satin varnish to enhance the medullary rays within the oak. The headboard and deep footboard are upholstered in life-proof intelligent velvet in a rich brown colourway. A bed destined to become a future heirloom, handed down through the generations.

Like all natural materials, oak has inherent disparities in colour and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Bed will have its own unique variation that will include knots, lines, colour difference, tiger grain, medullary rays, colour variation or shadowing. No two pieces will be an exact match, enhancing the unique characteristics and warmth of this piece.
