Designed by French Bedroom to complement our Love Story Furniture Collection, the Love Story Bench is hand-carved from high grade oak, and upholstered in pale taupe cotton velvet for a rich and luxurious aesthetic.

We have one Love Story Taupe Velvet Bench that has some light spotting across the fabric of the bench, please see images for visual representation. It is sold as seen and is, therefore, non-returnable and non-refundable.

Sumptuously soft deep buttoned cotton velvet is finished with velvet piping and set upon an oak carved frame with French cabriole legs. The oak is stained with a satin varnish that enhances the natural medullary rays as well as the deeper colours and dark tones that emerge from within the organic grain of the oak.

Like all natural materials, oak has inherent disparities in colour and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Love Story Velvet Bench will have its own unique variation that will include knots, black lines, colour difference, tiger grain, medullary rays, colour variation or shadowing. No two pieces will be an exact match, enhancing the unique characteristics and warmth of this piece.

Stylistically, this bedroom bench is all things to all rooms; it's the ideal go-with for both contemporary or classic style rooms as the colour palette is harmonious and timeless.We are styling this velvet bedroom bench with classic accessories such as linen and velvet cushions, French mirrors and a chandelier, or with more laid back jute rugs, pale ceramics and dried grasses for a more current and contemporary vibe.
