This delectable French Armchair has been designed in-house, and is adored by the team at French Bedroom.

Deep royal blue velvet upholstery and antique gold gilt combine in this masterpiece of an armchair. The combination of blue and gold is not only regal, but it is highly en vogue; sapphire blue is a big upcoming trend, and when combined with gold it really 'sings'.

The velvet has been treated with a special Texfin Oil & Water repellent, a treatment that surrounds individual fibres with an invisible shield, helping to protect them against household dirt and liquid spills, giving lasting protection, helping to keep your lovely French-style chair looking new for longer.

The gold frame is painted and finished by hand in a process that involves a 7-stage aging method. This involves multiple layers of paint including antique ivory, black, dark red and then gold and gilt. This process is designed to replicate the aesthetic of antique French furniture.
