Palais de Versailles Sacré Bleu Velvet Upholstered Bed (King) (Not Quite Perfect)

Designed exclusively by us and bearing all the hallmarks of its distinguished lineage, the Versailles Sacré Bleu Bed is strikingly decadent - every detail contributes a singular note of refinement to create an alluring and evocative French style bed beyond compare. The French-styling spans button back upholstery in royal blue deep-pile velvet, a hand-carved mahogany frame with distressed antique gold gilt finish, quintessentially French floral hand carvings and signature cabriole style legs.

We have one of our beautiful Palais de Versailles Sacré Bleu Velvet Upholstered Beds available in King size in our not quite perfect outlet. The join on the headboard of this bed was previously compromised during transit and has been professionally repaired. The break has been internally secured and is now barely visible. Most importantly, the bed is structurally sound and ready for delivery. Whilst in the workshop being repaired, the bed acquired a light layer of dust in the fabric, this could be easily removed with a velvet brush. Please see images for visual information. As with all our not quite perfect items, this bed is sold as seen and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

The velvet has been treated with a special Texfin Oil & Water repellent, a treatment that surrounds each individual fibre with an invisible shield, helping to protect against household dirt and liquid spills, giving lasting protection and helping to keep your lovely French-style bed looking new for longer.

The gold frame is painted and finished by hand in a process that involves a 7-stage aging method. This involves multiple layers of paint including antique ivory, black, dark red and then gold and gilt.: This process is designed to replicate the aesthetic of antique French furniture.

Sold with free shipping throughout mainland England and Wales, this upholstered French style bed will be delivered in 4 boxes: headboard, footboard, siderails and slats. Self-assembly is required (approx 15 mins and very simple!) or have it assembled for you by our drivers by purchasing our White Glove Service at the checkout, so all you need to do is pop the mattress on.
