The fitted sheets and pillowcases are created using a blend of 180 thread count natural cotton and environmentally-friendly Tencel fabric. Tencel is sourced from the eucalyptus tree and is made of tiny fibres which absorb up to 50% more moisture than cotton, keeping your body cooler whilst you sleep.

Tencel is widely used in fashion as it has superior wrinkle-resistance as well as the lustrous feel of a silk fabric, making it perfect for people with sensitive skin.

Tencel is increasingly a fabric of choice for ethical and conscious consumers and brands as it's light and versatile. It is a cellulose fibre, made by dissolving wood pulp and using a special drying process. The mixture is then pushed through small holes to form threads. The lengths of fibre are spun into yarn and woven into cloth. Like cotton and bamboo, Tencel is made from plant materials from certified and controlled sources like sustainably managed plantations, and manufacturing Tencel requires less energy and water than cotton. As a naturally derived fibre, Tencel is also biodegradable.

Because it's is more breathable and less susceptible to odorous bacteria growth, it makes the ideal fabric for bedding (as well as gym, yoga and activewear too).
