Handmade in India, this delightfully vibrant bedspread is adorned with a botanical design in a soft palette of ochre and autumnal tones, against a pale blue ground. The design features beautifully stylised birds (a red chested cookie or kingfisher) that sit and skip, flit and flutter amongst a glorious range of sweeping trellis foliage in a delightful floral pattern.
Made from soft, fine, lightweight cotton, the bedspread has a single layer of quilted filling in the central eiderdown section, and a double layer on the outer edges, giving it a really sumptuous aesthetic as well as a luxurious feel.
The generous size of 220 x 265cm means it will sit perfectly on all sizes of bed from double to emperor.
