Check the available finance plans on the last step of the checkout, then toggle to find the most suitable plan for you.

Fill in the online finance application, powered by our partner, Omni Capital Retail Finance Ltd. The lender will be in touch with your decision (usually straight away, but sometimes within a few hours.)

Once you're accepted for credit you'll be taken back to the French Bedroom website to complete your order.
Am I Eligible?
You are more likely to have an application for finance accepted if you have a good credit history (no late payments, CCJs, etc) and meet the following minimum criteria:
Be over 18 years of age, and buying for personal and not business use
Be a permanent UK resident with at least 3 years of UK address history
Have a UK bank account that can accept direct debits
Be employed for minimum 16 hours per week, or have a partner who is in permanent paid employment, or be self-employed, or retired in receipt of a pension, or receiving disability payments
Have a good credit history with no late payments, debt relief orders, CCJs, IVAs or bankruptcies
Have an active, valid email address
Delivery must be to the address that you put on the finance application, which should match your bank account's billing address
Have products totalling £1,000, or more, in your basket

Could you show me a representative example?
You can use our interactive calculator above to check affordability - just enter the length of the plan you want, the amount of the purchase and the amount you would like to pay as your initial deposit, and the calculator will give you all the information you need. As an example, if chose to purchase our Tea & Chantilly Upholstered King Size Bed, Total cost £1,995. With a 10% deposit of £199.50, The remaining £1,795.50 could be financed with a 60-month payment plan, at a fixed 9.9% APR interest. Monthly payments of £37.68 and total payable is £2,460.84, with the total cost of credit £465.84.
How do I choose to pay by instalments?
Just select the option to Pay By Instalments on the checkout page and follow the steps on screen. You may be contacted by Omni Capital if they have any questions about your application. Please note, that stock will only be reserved for you once your application has been approved.
When will my repayments start?
You will pay a deposit up front, and your monthly repayments will begin approximately two weeks after your items have been delivered.
Are there any arrangement fees or hidden extras for credit?
No. There are no arrangement fees or hidden extras. If you choose a finance plan that is not a 12 or 24 month 0% plan, we will be transparent about interest payable and you will be able to see the exact amount due using the calculator on our product pages, and in the checkout.
Once my application is approved, what happens next?
Within minutes of your application being approved, you will be presented with the option to sign your credit agreement. You should read the credit agreement carefully before clicking all the relevant sections agreeing to its terms. Once you have agreed to the terms of the credit agreement, both French Bedroom and Omni Capital will be notified and you need do nothing more.
Will you credit score me and if so, what does this mean?
Credit scoring is the process used by financial services companies to evaluate the credit risk of new applicants. This technique will be applied to your application for online finance. Credit scoring works by awarding points for each answer given on the application form such as age, income and occupation, together with information obtained from credit reference agencies. This information allows us to produce consistent decisions, ensuring all our applicants are treated fairly. The credit scoring process does not discriminate on the grounds of sex, race, religion or disability.
If you decline my application, what is the reason?
In addition to credit scoring, we also take into account confirmation of your identity, validation of certain application details, existing commitments and information held at the credit reference agencies. If you have been declined, please email [email protected] or call Omni Capital on 0333 240 8317 to find out if you can re-apply. A decline could be due to number of reasons, and is often based a combination of the following:
- Misspellings in your application, incomplete names or address history - Your credit score - Any adverse credit reference agency information - You are considered to be financially overcommitted - You are aged under 18 - Your existing account performance with other lenders
What type of information do credit reference agencies hold about me?
Some of the information is public information, for example electoral roll, bankruptcies and County Court Judgments. Other lenders may also file information about accounts you hold with them, and this could include your payment history and outstanding balance on these accounts. Any requests for credit, where a credit reference search has been undertaken, will also be filed, although the result of the request is not recorded.
How do I obtain a copy of my credit score information?
Agencies such as Experian, Equifax, and ClearScore can give you a copy of your credit report. Please contact them directly using the links provided here. If you believe that the information is incorrect, you can ask the agency to correct it.
If my application is not successful, can I re-apply?
Yes. We acknowledge that your circumstances change. Just because a previous application may have been turned down, this does not mean that another request will automatically be turned down too. We do suggest however, that you leave at least 6 months between applications.
Can homemakers apply for online finance?
To apply for finance, you must be over the age of 18, work at least 16 hours a week, or be retired with an income. You must also be a resident of the United Kingdom and have lived in the UK for the last 36 months or more. Homemakers aren't excluded from applying under their own names; however we will require the employment details of your spouse in order to process your application.
When will I receive a copy of my loan agreement?
Your welcome pack will be emailed to the email address in your application. This will contain your loan agreement along with all the regulatory paperwork, and it is sent within 7-10 days of the goods or services being delivered by French Bedroom. Can I request delivery to an address other than my home?
In order to safeguard against fraudulent applications, we regret that we're able only to deliver goods to the home address of the applicant.
What are my rights of cancellation?
With all applications for credit, you have a statutory 14-day cooling off period, when you can cancel your application for finance without penalty. This does not change the standard 45 days you have following the delivery of goods to request a cancellation and return. Further detail on our refunds policy can be found here. Please contact us if you would like to make a cancellation.
Can I take delivery of some goods before others if they are not all in stock at the same time?
As you have time-limited rights of cancellation, and as your payments must start for the whole loan together, the finance company insists that all goods must be taken on one delivery. This means your rights of return and cancellation all fall into a common time period.
When can I expect delivery?
Deliveries for all orders are subject to the lead times shown on our website and the approximate delivery date shown on your order confirmation. However, for finance orders, once we have confirmation of approval there will be a 2 week processing period before we are able to release your goods. This overrides your approximate delivery date shown in your basket for any items that you ordered that were in stock and due for delivery in less than two weeks.
What happens if I miss any of my repayments?
Any late or missed repayment may have serious consequences and your credit rating may be affected which could make it more difficult to obtain credit in the future.
Is your finance offering regulated by FCA?
Please note that up to 12 months interest-free 0% finance is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
