Kantha throws are made from a single layer of cotton with a hand-sewn kantha stitch, running from edge to edge. They make the ideal bed or chair covering for the summer months when you still want to enjoy a styled space, but don't need the additional warmth of a bedspread or blanket.
This block-printed kantha throw is hand-made and hand-printed in India and depicts borders of flowers, stripes and pattern, with a red stitching as the perfect contrast hue. The design evokes a sense of nostalgia with a very gentle hint to the 70s; the pattern reminiscent of long hot summers, carefree picnics, and forgotten embraces.
The delightful palette of pink, peach, and pale green with just a hint of oatmeal is printed on 100% pure lightweight cotton. Due to the handmade nature of kantha stitching, we do expect occasional stitch variation or loose threads or colour variation.
100% cotton. Gentle wash at 30 degrees and line dry.
