Designed by French Bedroom to complement our Love Story Furniture Collection, the Love Story Bench is hand-carved from high grade oak, and upholstered in pale taupe cotton velvet for a rich and luxurious aesthetic.
Sumptuously soft deep buttoned cotton velvet is finished with velvet piping and set upon an oak carved frame with French cabriole legs. The oak is stained with a satin varnish that enhances the natural medullary rays as well as the deeper colours and dark tones that emerge from within the organic grain of the oak.
Like all natural materials, oak has inherent disparities in colour and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Love Story Velvet Bench will have its own unique variation that will include knots, black lines, colour difference, tiger grain, medullary rays, colour variation or shadowing. No two pieces will be an exact match, enhancing the unique characteristics and warmth of this piece.
