The Finer Details
Made exclusively for French Bedroom.
This large reversible, lightly quilted bedspread is made from 100% cotton and features hand-block printed floral sprigs and slender cypress trees, framed by gently winding leafy vines against an ivory ground. A palette of indigo, sage green, berry red, and daffodil yellow brings a fresh, collected character to the design, while an intricately patterned indigo-blue floral border with fine striped edging completes the look.
Each bedspread comes with a reusable cotton bag in a coordinating print, perfect for storing your bedspread or repurposing around the home (and just the right size for a yoga mat!).
Our bedspreads begin their life in Sanganer, Jaipur, where the fabric is block-printed by hand, one block at a time, using carved wooden blocks and traditional Indian techniques. From there, they pass through the hands of skilled artisan families, who cut, stitch, quilt, and finish each piece. Every bedspread is then carefully checked and prepared in Noida before beginning its journey to French Bedroom.
As each bedspread is made by hand, subtle printing irregularities and colour variations may occur.
