Taking inspiration from the golden age (quite literally!) of French furniture, the Palais Royal Avenue collection is both romantic and sensuous, just as we characterise much of The Enlightenment and Louis XV’s reign. Women gained more power throughout the golden age, and this period of grand creativity was influenced by their unfailing attentiveness to not only elegance but to comfort and grandeur.
