As the preferred tipple of artists and writers in bohemian Paris during the turn of the 20th century, the Absinthe spirit of freedom is reflected in this glamorous green velvet upholstered bed.

We have one of our luxurious Absinthe Green Velvet Upholstered Beds available in King Size in our not quite perfect outlet. The headboard of this bed has incurred some minor damage in transit. There is a small rip in the fabric, however this should be below the mattress line and unnoticeable once the bed is fully dressed. There is also a slight thinning of the velvet to the top corner of the headboard. Please see the images for visual representation of the issues. As with all our not quite perfect items, this bed is sold as seen and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.

It has been created by our in-house design team and hand made in the UK by a company specialising in luxury beds since the 1920s.

The Absinthe Green Velvet Bed is emboldened with striking dashes of brass gold, detailed in the slender tapered legs and also the refined studwork that sweeps across the headboard.

Invigorating and elegant, the green velvet will coordinate perfectly with bold prints, and metallic side tables and lighting.

The solid wood slat base provides the perfect breathable support for your mattress, and is thoughtfully concealed with a 'modesty panel' of velvet covering the edges, ensuring they won't be seen if your mattress moves.

This rich green velvet bed is upholstered in easycare polyester fabric, known for its excellent stain resistance qualities.

Once with you, the bed is easy to assemble: the solid slats have pilot holes to simply fix in place with the screws provided (or sit back and let us do the hard work, by selecting White Glove assembly at checkout).
