Designed in Sussex by French Bedroom’s design team, the Gustavian collection pays tribute to the kinship and visual dialogue between French and Swedish furniture designs. The collection offers new classics for the discerning eye, the warm rich tones of the pieces bring a grounded aesthetic, with a focus on quiet luxury.
Crafted from dark stained ash wood, the Gustavian chair sits peacefully in a corner of any room, or paired with the Gustavian Dressing Table.
The slim, long legs have hand-carved detailing and finials to add an element of visual intrigue. In true Gustavian style, symmetrical carvings have been added to the body of the chair, which surrounds an upholstered seat in a mushroom-toned intelligent linen with life-proof stain resistant qualities. Elements of crest-back-styling complete the chair, combining style with both functionality and comfort.

We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Orders below this rate are £39.95. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
For British mainland deliveries our 2-man crew will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the furniture for your full inspection, and ask you to sign a Proof of Delivery note.
In stock items are delivered within two weeks to almost all areas of mainland Britain.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
Returns
If goods are unwanted we charge a returns fee of £60 from mainland Britain. You simply need to notify us within 45 days of delivery if you would like to make a return.
