Designed in Sussex by French Bedroom’s design team, the Gustavian collection pays tribute to the kinship and visual dialogue between French and Swedish furniture designs. The collection offers new classics for the discerning eye, the warm rich tones of the pieces bring a grounded aesthetic, with a focus on quiet luxury.

Crafted from dark stained ash wood, the Gustavian chair sits peacefully in a corner of any room, or paired with the Gustavian Dark Dressing Table.

The slim, long legs have hand-carved detailing and finials to add an element of visual intrigue. In true Gustavian style, symmetrical carvings have been added to the body of the chair, which surrounds an upholstered seat in a mushroom-toned intelligent linen with life-proof stain resistant qualities. Elements of crest-back-styling complete the chair, combining style with both functionality and comfort.

With neoclassicist characteristics such as clarity of form and strong horizontal and vertical lines that render the design timeless, the Gustavian Chair offers timeless style that exudes simplistic elegance.
