Designed in Sussex by French Bedroom’s design team, the Gustavian collection pays tribute to the kinship and visual dialogue between French and Swedish furniture designs. The collection offers new classics for the discerning eye, the warm rich tones of the pieces offering a grounded aesthetic, with a focus on quiet luxury.

Solid ash wood with a decadent dark stain has been used to craft this bedside cabinet with simplistic, gold metal drawer pulls that complement the timeless hand-carved fluting. Fluting continues down the sides of the carefully tapered legs to unify the piece in a symmetrical fashion.

The function of this bedside cabinet perfectly matches its elevated form: an internal fitted shelf is encased behind two central doors that close with simplicity thanks to the integrated magnetic closures. Below the doors sits a slim chamfered drawer, fitted with wooden stoppers to allow for ease when opening and closing. A distinguishing element of the Gustavian Dark Bedside Cabinet is the hidden top pull-out shelf that allows space for additional ad hoc items (such as your morning paper or warm drink). The very top of the bedside features a low vertical border edge, stopping items from falling off.
