A strikingly decadent French-style bed for the discerning eye! It has a button back upholstered in beige-grey raw slub-silk, with a double-piped trim and framed in a distressed antique gold gilt mahogany with end corner detailing. Featuring floral carvings and signature cabriole style legs, this luxurious gold bed truly has to be seen! Fits standard UK double (4ft 6in), king (5ft), superking (6ft) and Large Emperor (7ft) size mattresses.

Sold with free shipping throughout mainland England and Wales, this French style luxury bed will be delivered in 4 boxes: headboard, footboard, siderails and slats. Self-assembly is required (approx 15 mins and very simple!) or have it assembled for you by our drivers by purchasing our White Glove Service at the checkout, so all you need to do is pop on the mattress and dress it in crisp white bed linen and stylish cushions.

Silk is a gorgeous but delicate material made from 100% natural fibres.: Used as an upholstery fabric, silk emulates the quintessentially French Louis designs, but can be broken down and weakened if not treated with care.: In some cases silk upholstery won't be suitable for everyday use in modern life, for example close encounters with children or pets. Ideally silk should avoid too much human handling to ensure the delicate fibres are kept free from oils and chemicals that may cause them to deteriorate.

Silk is strong and will last many years if treated properly.: Its main enemy is sunlight as the rays break down the natural fibres, so we advise you keep pieces of French furniture upholstered in silk away from direct sunlight to ensure you years of enjoyment.

Our extra luxurious 7ft Large Emperor Beds are made to order and because of their size they take a bit more time, attention and finishing, so the lead times can be a little longer if they have sold out.
