One of our all-time favourite pieces of French furniture, this Amour French Chest is serenely elegant, with a heavy dose of pure French styling. The detailing on the drawers, side panels and legs has been hand carved from solid mahogany and then hand painted in a fawn grey with ivory accents and very mild distressing.
The metalwork drawer handles are shaped acanthus leaves and have a curvaceous relief. Even the side panels are beautifully hand-carved; every part of this French Chest of Drawers is designed to be seen and enjoyed.
We have one of our beautiful Amour Classic Chest of Drawers available in our not quite perfect outlet. The piece is perfect to look at, although, there are some minor faults with the runners on the drawers. The middle drawer catches slightly, and the bottom drawer is a little stiff. We imagine this will improve over time with daily use. As with all our not quite perfect items, this chest of drawers is sold as seen and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable.
Complete the look with an elegant table lamp or floral canvas placed above it. Matching furniture is available in The Amour Collection.

We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Orders below this rate are £39.95. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
For British mainland deliveries our 2-man crew will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the furniture for your full inspection, and ask you to sign a Proof of Delivery note.
In stock items are delivered within two weeks to almost all areas of mainland Britain.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
Returns
Not quite perfect items are sold as seen and therefore are non-returnable and non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
