This classic blue Breton Stripe Wool Blanket is reminiscent of our favourite summer Breton T-shirts, and the ideal way to take summer all the way into winter. Breton jumpers are everywhere this season - we don't want summer to end!
Natural unbleached white twill wool is overlaid with fine navy stripes with ends edged with a frame of twisted tassels that run on from the main stripes.
A simple yet striking style made from 100% pure wool, so it is not only exceptionally warm, but has low polymer production levels too. Perfect over your legs, around your shoulders on cool evenings, or as a runner at the end of the bed for a bit of extra winter warmth.
Traditionally the Breton stripe was the uniform for French sailors, particularly so that men overboard could be easily located and retrieved. Challenge: if you count more than 21 stripes you'll be victorious over Napoleon Bonaparte - 21 represented his number of victories - either way, do treat yourself to a boulée or deux of Cidre Breton!
Handwash or dry clean. Do not tumble dry or iron.

Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Below this rate, this item is sent by next working day courier for £6.95. Saturday delivery is £9.95 extra. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
If purchasing from outside the UK, please check the prohibited items lists for your country, as import restrictions and failed delivery fees may occur.
Returns
Should you choose to return your item, you simply need to notify us within 45 days of delivery.
Items can be posted back to us, we offer returns via Royal Mail starting from £6.95 or you can make alternative arrangements.
