We have one of our beautiful Gustavian Upholstered Bed available in Super King size in our outlet. The headboard has some very modest darker marks which our restorer has attempted to clean, which can be seen in the images. As with all our not quite perfect items, this bed is sold as seen and therefore non-returnable and non-refundable

The Gustavian collection pays tribute to the kinship that exists between French and Swedish furniture designs.

Celebrating the visual dialogue between the two historical designs is the Gustavian Upholstered Bed. Inspired by the clean-lined architectural Gustavian form, the bed features geometric profiles defined by a simple silhouette. Crafted from solid ash wood and finished with a mild and light distemper, paired with tailored pale ivory linen upholstery, finished with piped edges. This Gustavian bed offers a sleek, streamlined and contemporary take on the classic and historic Gustavian design.

The hand-carved and carefully considered design details create a perfect aesthetic of natural, refined elegance. The siderails and footend feature horizontal hand-carved fluting with stepped inset corners that emulate the same stepped design on the shoulders of the headboard and footboard.

Distinguished by acorn corner finials, this timeless upholstered bed is expertly constructed with enduring beauty; over time the ash wood will weather to develop a rich patina that only the authenticity of time can evoke.
