The solid oak framework is finished in a satin varnish to enhance the medullary rays within the oak and perfectly complement the beige linen upholstery; the two natural textures working harmoniously together. The bed frame is adorned with hand-carved detailing, exemplifying the care that has gone into the creation of this legacy piece.

We love the way the sweeping and gently scalloped side rails and footboard thoughtfully match the undulation of the headboard, a considered design that will create a tranquil and versatile starting point for a multitude of interior schemes, complementing any style you choose for the homes you move into over the years - from contemporary to traditional, this bed is a timeless piece of bedroom furniture to travel with you through the decades.

Like all natural materials, oak has inherent variation in colour and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Bed will have its own unique pattern that will include knots, tiger grain, medullary rays, or shadowing. No two pieces will be an exact match, enhancing the unique characteristics and warmth of this piece.

This linen French bed can either be put together for you upon delivery (choose White Glove Delivery at checkout), alternatively you can assemble your new upholstered bed, which is straightforward and takes approximately 20 minutes.
