The Gustavian collection pays tribute to the kinship that exists between French and Swedish furniture designs. Influenced by his experiences in French culture, King Gustav III paired French influence with inherently Swedish style to create distinguishable furniture which has defined homeware design for centuries.
In true Gustavian fashion, the Gustavian Bedside cabinet displays a Swedish twist on French neoclassicism. Simplistic, gold metal drawer pulls complement the timeless hand-carved fluting to create a bedside cabinet that is an ode to Swedish furniture design. Fluting continues down the sides of the carefully tapered legs to unify the piece in a symmetrical fashion.
Solid ash wood with a mild and light distemper has been used to craft this bedside cabinet that sings traditional Gustavian architecture; over time the ash wood will weather to develop a rich patina that only the authenticity of time can evoke. Upon opening the unit, a simple fitted shelf can be found inside which allows you the space to organise your belongings beside your bed. The cabinet doors close with simplicity due to the magnetic closure fitted internally. The slim, fluted drawer is also carefully designed, fitted with wooden stoppers to allow for ease when opening and closing. The top of the bedside features a low vertical border edge, stopping items from falling off.
A distinguishing element of the Gustavian Bedside Cabinet is the hidden top shelf, allowing you to decorate your bedside table with vases of flowers, whilst still having room for your morning or evening tea.

Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Orders below this rate are £39.95. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
For British mainland deliveries our 2-man crew will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the furniture for your full inspection, and ask you to sign a Proof of Delivery note.
In stock items are delivered within two weeks to almost all areas of mainland Britain.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
Returns
If goods are unwanted we charge a returns fee of £60 from mainland Britain. You simply need to notify us within 45 days of delivery if you would like to make a return.
