Designed in Sussex by French Bedroom's design team, the Gustavian White collection of linear French furniture is made from solid wood, painted in French white; a reimagined style of our very first collection of French furniture sold when we launched back in 2006. The rich tapestry of French furniture design is still woven into the fabric of each piece, blended with a contemporary linear elements for a fresh take on French furniture style.
The collection reflects how the rooms in our homes have evolved to accommodate how we live today. The flux and flow of our homes from living to working, resting to entertaining means the items of furniture need to offer dual purpose in terms of use, comfort and storage requirements, with that in mind, the timeless Gustavian Armoire has been hand-crafted from solid ash wood with carefully handcrafted designs that include a cornice top plinth and symmetrical columns, delicate, hand-carved beading surrounds the top plinth, accompanied by simple diamond formations. The panelling which adorns the front of the armoire is delicately fluted, adding timeless Gustavian elegance. The armoire is fitted with a fully functional golden lock and key adorned with a tassel. Internally, the armoire has a wooden hanging rail and a removable wooden shelf, making the space customisable according to your own requirements.
Below the cupboard is a symmetrical panelled drawer that is embellished with a circular design gold metal drawer pull. The armoire is then finished with tapered feet which exude Gustavian elegance.
Because of the size and weight of our armoires (some are 150kg) we deliver to ground floor rooms only, and they come fully assembled.
