Your honeymoon is captured in the blue Mediterranean summer skies, Agean seas, rippling oceans, fields of French lavender and carpets of bluebells; nature and love in every form, and in every corner of our precious planet has been the inspiration for our Love Story Collection of French furniture.
Crafted from a hand-finished solid oak framework, the Love Story French Bed is hand-carved and stained with a satin varnish to enhance the medullary rays within the oak. The headboard and gently curved footboard are upholstered in a soft muted French blue velvet and finished with double-piped trim for an elegant and classic aesthetic.
Pair with the Love Story Bedsides with either one or two drawers for useful bedside storage.
Like all natural materials, oak has inherent disparities in color and grain pattern, so each piece of wood used to make this French Bed will have its own unique variation that will include knots, black lines, color difference, tiger grain, medullary rays, color variation or shadowing. No two pieces will be an exact match, enhancing the unique characteristics and warmth of this piece.

This velvet French bed can either be put together for you upon delivery (choose White Glove Delivery at checkout), alternatively you can assemble your new upholstered bed, which is straightforward and takes approximately 20 minutes.
Our beds and mattresses are made to fit standard UK: sizes.

We offer Vispring Mattresses and Luxury Mattresses for every level of comfort.
Delivery
We offer free delivery for orders over £1,500. Orders below this rate are £39.95. This applies to all addresses in mainland Britain (excl. northern Scotland). For all other locations, just add items to your basket, and enter your postcode or country for a quote.
For British mainland deliveries our 2-man crew will deliver to your room of choice, unpack the furniture for your full inspection, and ask you to sign a Proof of Delivery note.
In stock items are delivered within two weeks to almost all areas of mainland Britain.
When ordering multiple items, we will typically make one delivery when all items are in stock (there may be occasions when we deliver goods separately from different warehouses).
Returns
If goods are unwanted we charge a returns fee of £60 from mainland Britain. You simply need to notify us within 45 days of delivery if you would like to make a return.
