Rattan is a delicate natural material, and we've used a fine rattan in a tight wicker weave to emulate the authentic French and colonial styles. It will last for many years if carefully used and cared for.: To ensure that the rattan doesn't become dry and brittle, we suggest spraying the rattan with a fine water mist every few months, especially if you like to keep your home particularly warm.
