After such a rain-soaked beginning to 2026, the arrival of spring feels especially joyful. There’s something magical about that first glimpse of mimosa on the trees, and the sunshine-yellow daffodils, air-bound blossom petals, and those long-awaited deep blue skies. These gentle yet uplifting hues have inspired us to create something new for you - a discovery page designed to let you shop by colour, embracing the palette of the season and inviting a little more joy into your home.
This year has already been wonderfully collaborative. We’ve had the pleasure of working with ten talented interiors specialists, each bringing their own signature style to carefully curated bedrooms. From timeless elegance to modern romance, their spaces are a true celebration of individuality. You can explore each unique interpretation on our From Her Home to Yours page - a space that feels as inspiring as it is personal.
Behind the scenes, we’ve also been busy expanding our best-selling collection; at the end of March, The Love Story Collection will welcome eagerly-awaited additions: two chests of drawers, two ottomans, a dressing table, an armoire, and two new beds - one in a rich berry hue and another in a serene blue. This expansion has been shaped by you, our customers, with a desire for more storage and a dedicated space to prepare for the day ahead. It’s always such a joy to see how our pieces become part of your daily rituals.
Our team continues to grow too, and with immense pride. At the start of this year, four incredible women passed their probation with us each bringing talent, warmth, and fresh perspective. Supporting women in building fulfilling careers has always been at the heart of French Bedroom, and we’re so excited to also be rerunning our annual mentoring competition. It’s a small way of giving back and encouraging others to step confidently into their potential.

As the Easter holidays approach, we’re looking forward to a family escape to the French mountains. There’s nothing like crisp alpine air and the shared challenge of skiing together - a reminder of how important it is to stay active and connected. At home, quieter moments have been just as meaningful; watching my 11-year-old son play chess with my husband has been a particular joy. With chess enjoying such a lovely resurgence, it’s been a special way to see generations come together.
March has also invited reflection. With World Sleep Day, Mother’s Day, and International Women’s Day, we’ve been gently reminded to pause. So often we rush from one moment to the next, but these occasions encourage us to linger - to stay in our sanctuaries a little longer on a Sunday morning. As we step out of winter’s hibernation, I’m holding onto those slower moments. It’s in that stillness that my creativity and peace flourishes.
This year is especially meaningful for us, as we celebrate 20 years of French Bedroom. It feels surreal to think it all began at my kitchen table, armed with nothing more than a handful of post-it notes an idea, and a quiet determination to make it happen.
We have so many pinch-me moments ahead to celebrate this milestone - from features in THE fashion magazines, to a very special pyjama collaboration with a founder I deeply admire, alongside events and surprises still to come. I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
