Designed in Sussex by French Bedroom's design team, the Gustavian White Collection of linear French furniture is made from solid wood, painted in French white; a reimagined style of our very first collection of French furniture sold when we launched back in 2006.
The Gustavian stool is created to pair perfectly with the Gustavian Writing Desk. Crafted from solid ash wood and upholstered in a pale linen upholstery. Intricately hand-carved fluting and beading form the legs and base, while the linen upholstered pillowy top creates a soft and inviting seat.
The collection reflects how the rooms in our homes have evolved to accommodate how we live today. The flux and flow of our homes from living to working, resting to entertaining means the items of furniture need to offer dual purpose in terms of use, comfort and storage requirements.
The rich tapestry of French furniture design is still woven into the fabric of each piece, blended with a contemporary linear elements for a fresh take on French furniture style.
