Secrets of Glyndebourne
From its striking architecture and beautifully maintained gardens to its rich traditions and attention to detail, Glyndebourne is renowned not only for its opera, but for the extraordinary setting in which it takes place. Within the Glyndebourne estate, rooms have served many purposes over the years, from star dressing rooms to wartime evacuee dormitories. Today, this elegant room offers a place of respite between opera intervals, where guests enjoy private dining, champagne receptions and exclusive events, providing an intimate setting rich in character and atmosphere.

Famed as Sussex's most elegant picnic spot and accessible only to opera guests, Glyndebourne's gardens are as much a part of the experience as the performance itself. Guests are invited to dine on the lawns and wander the grounds surrounding the opera house; a celebration of summer romance and escapism.
